Are you new to Woden Valley Alliance and want to find out more about who we are as a community and a denomination?
Join us for dinner on Saturday 9th March at 6pm. You'll have the opportunity to hear about the church and meet staff and ministry leaders.
Do you have a heart for mission? Are you being called to go on a God adventure?
We are looking at taking a team of 10 people into the heart of south-east Uganda for 3 weeks in July 2019. We will be serving in rural areas with a focus on faith, health and education.
We believe this trip may be a little more spiritually confronting than some of our other trips so we are looking for mature Christians to be part of our team.
This info night will look at where we are going, what we will be doing and how to prepare. It will answer common questions and give you an opportunity to ask some of your own.
We are organising a group of women to meet for the OneLove Women’s Convention.
This year, OneLove will be livestreamed and will take place on Saturday 22nd August. The program will run for three hours, featuring international speaker Amy Orr-Ewing (RZIM) and Australian author and speaker Kara Martin (Workship) where they will share what God’s Word says on the 2020 theme, “Come to Me: An Invitation to Find True Rest”.
It will be a great morning of excellent Bible talks and a chance to learn practical wisdom on what scripture says about true rest and how we can examine our lives and priorities to find true rest in God.
Cost $30 (includes morning tea & lunch)
Current COVID regulations apply
Maximum number of participants 40
Join us after our service on Sunday 24th February for a picnic at Weston Park.

Starting in the first week of May!
The next series of four one-hour-per-week Zoom seminars will start soon. The seminars are designed to help us share our faith in conversations with family, friends, neighbours, workmates, or even the person we’re standing next to in the supermarket queue!
The seminars go for one hour per week for four consecutive weeks. They are built around [“The Gospel in 3-2-1”](http://three-two-one.org/)as developed by Glen Scrivener and the team at [SpeakLife](https://speaklife.org.uk/) in the UK. During each seminar, Roy will show a video that goes for about ten minutes, then we’ll discuss the video and practice using the content.
Select EITHER the Wednesday group OR the Thursday group.
Wednesday Group: Starts Wednesday 5th May for four consecutive weeks, commencing at 8.00 pm EST
Thursday Group: Starts Thursday 6th May for four consecutive weeks, commencing at 1.30 pm EST
