A Gathering Around the Fire is the first of Woden Valley Alliance Church’s afternoon service, Sabbath events. Sit around the fire and experience worship, testimonies and godly community around the fire before an optional meal which will begin at 5:30 pm. Come and hear from Joyce Chimbila, founder and director of A Future 4 Kids Community School in Zambia. Joyce is visiting Australia from Zambia and will be sharing about her ministry, which is currently providing education and hope to more than 200 children living in poverty.

Through gentle prompts, stations, and simple practices, you'll be free to engage at your own pace, exploring prayer, creativity, and stillness without words. This is a space for you to have some time with God alone. Whether you're longing for connection, clarity, or simply space to breathe, Into the Garden offers a sacred pause to meet with God.
This event will begin at 4 pm on Sunday, the 27th of July. You are free to stay as long as you need or to leave when you want. We ask that if you are to arrive after the start time that you honour the stillness of the space and how people may already be seeking God in different ways.

CFF warmly invites you to a celebration dinner, in honour of those who shine the Light of Christ in a world desperately in need of His love and redemption. This is an opportunity to raise awareness of our ministry of advocacy and aid for Christians in crisis. This is also an opportunity to partner in our work with embassies and government, aimed at preventing human rights violations in Australia and overseas. Our keynote speaker is Dr Daniel Shayesteh.
