WORSHIP WITH US

Be Still is a guided silent retreat, for both men and women, to help them to connect more deeply to God. It is a wonderful opportunity to cocoon yourself away from the world and wrap yourself in the presence of God. This is a time to be still, be refreshed and listen with your heart.

This retreat will take place at The Convent, Murrumburrah and will mostly be a silent retreat. There will be a small section each day to gain some fresh insights, have some teaching and be gently guided to a place of peace.

There will be activities to help you reflect, unwind, rest in God and focus on Him. There are also some church nearby should you wish to attend a church service.

Helen Betz will be coordinating and hosting this event. Helen is known for her insightful teaching, passion for God and the gentle way she leads others to connect with God.

Each person will have their own private bedroom, with a shared bathroom and all linen is provided. All activities and meals are included in the cost.

This retreat is limited to just 12 people. So come away, be still and listen with your heart.

Alliance News & Events 8th April 2026

Alliance Kids is our Kids Church or Sunday School Program for children aged 2 through to 12 years. Alliance Kids runs during our morning church services during school terms. Here, children will learn and discover relevant Bible truths that they can apply to their lives. Using age appropriate worship, stories and activities we aim to support parents and help lay a spiritual foundation that lasts a lifetime.

As a church, we host a playgroup on Tuesday mornings during school terms. We have a structured program for play, music, storytelling and morning tea. Our playgroup is open to anyone in the community. Come and spend time with other parents, grandparents and carers while the kids have fun. Our Playgroup is run by a wonderful team of volunteers and is one of the largest in the Canberra area.

Kreative Kids Playgroup is a partner of ACT Playgroups Associated.

Tuesdays 9:30am - 11:30am during school terms

Impact Youth strive to create a fun and enjoyable environment in which young people can explore and grow their relationship with Jesus. It is a safe place to connect with other young people and leaders, and be supported as they journey through life and grow in spiritual maturity.

Impact Youth is for those in Grade 7 - 12

Imapct Youth meet on Friday nights at 7pm during school terms.
